Hey everyone! I've just upgraded my GPU to an RTX 3070, and now I'm curious if my CPU might be holding me back. Currently, I'm using an i5-9600K, and I've been considering upgrading to an i5-12600K since it's fairly affordable. My specs are: CPU: i5-9600K, RAM: 2x8GB DDR4, and motherboard: Z370A. I've been having issues with Warzone crashing after just a single game, and I'm not sure if it's a CPU issue. I haven't tested other demanding games extensively, but titles like League of Legends, CS2, and Apex Legends run smoothly. Path of Exile 2 had some stuttering, but it improved significantly from my old 1660Ti. I know 32GB of RAM is ideal, but I haven't experienced problems with my current 16GB setup yet. Any insights? Thanks! 😊

Bottlenecks generally don't cause crashing issues. It sounds more like a driver or hardware problem instead. Try installing HWINFO64 to monitor your CPU and GPU temperatures while you’re gaming. If your CPU temps are fine, check if you've got the latest GPU and chipset drivers installed. Also, updating your BIOS might help!
Thanks! I appreciate it. I'll definitely check my temps and run some diagnostics.
No worries about crashing; that seems more related to software issues or overheating rather than your CPU. You should be able to play Warzone without major issues based on your specs.
Thanks for the reassurance! I was worried my CPU was maxing out and causing the problem, especially since it's been hitting 100%. Good to know!
