I've recently realized my setup is pretty outdated for my video editing work! I've got an Intel i9 10900, 32GB of DDR5 RAM, and a decent PSU and motherboard, but I'm still using a GTX 1050. I know I should've upgraded a while ago, but I'm looking for advice on a budget-friendly GPU that won't break the bank. Ideally, I'd like something in the $300-$450 range. I've considered a 9060xt, but it's a bit pricey for me. Any recommendations?

If you're okay with used options, a 2070 Super or 2080 from Newegg could be a strong pick. Just hold off a bit until you can get one of the newer models like the 5060 Ti or 9060xt. What kind of performance boost are you aiming for?
Consider checking out the used market! Sometimes you can find great deals on GPUs. A friend of mine just got a brand new 9070 16GB for $450! You could probably negotiate down to $400 if you ask nicely. Just make sure to get confirmation from sellers about the condition before committing.
Have you looked into the 5060 Ti? I’d recommend getting the 16GB version if you can. If that doesn’t fit your budget, the regular versions of the 5060 or 9060 might work as well. They offer solid performance without the top-tier price tag.
Good choice! I almost bought one not long ago, but I got sidetracked.

Thanks for the tip! I’ll start looking on eBay and Facebook Marketplace.
