I'm considering buying the Asus TUF 16" Full HD+ gaming laptop with an AMD Ryzen 7 processor and 16GB of RAM. However, I've come across several reviews suggesting that these laptops tend to have issues after 2 or 3 years of use. Has anyone had experience with this model or similar ones? I'd really like to know if they're as unreliable as people say.

It's tough to give a definitive answer. Laptops, in general, need to be handled with care. That said, the build quality of new models, including the TUF series, doesn't seem to be the best. They might not last as long as you'd expect.
So basically you're saying they're generally not very durable? I’d hope for at least 4 or 5 years from a gaming laptop.
