I'm considering making the jump from Windows 10 to Linux, especially with Windows 11 on the horizon. I've been using Arch for about six months and really enjoyed it, but I've run into issues and accidentally broken things while experimenting. I want a distro similar to Arch that feels familiar but won't let me easily mess things up, especially since I have 2-3TB of data that I don't want to risk losing. I've heard about Pop!_OS, but I'm looking for other suggestions as well.

You might want to experiment using a VM first. It's a safe way to play around without risking your main OS. Pop!_OS is not very Arch-like; instead, distributions like EndeavourOS or OpenSUSE Tumbleweed are closer in spirit. They come with good features and are easier on the maintenance side than Arch.
You know, any Linux distribution can be accidentally messed up, especially when using sudo. But if you're looking for a more user-friendly experience, maybe consider Linux Mint. It has a Windows-like interface, making it easier for new users while still being powerful enough for daily use. Arch can be quite the adventure, so if you want something stable, Mint is a solid choice!
