I recently had to switch to a 3-fan GPU after the seller with a dual-fan model ghosted me. My original case was too small, but the seller included a larger case for free since he didn't need it anymore. Unfortunately, the new case is designed for standard motherboards, and I have a smaller one. All of my ports, except the DisplayPort, are being obstructed by a piece of metal. I attempted to saw it off, but the left side is too thick to cut easily. I'm looking for budget-friendly ways to remove it without having to buy an electric metal saw. I couldn't upload a picture here, but I've linked one from Imgur: https://imgur.com/a/sLwDkzY.

That metal strip does look like it was meant to be removable. Have you tried seeing if there are any screws holding it in place? If it's just a solid piece, adjusting the motherboard position could work. Just lower it a bit; your mATX board should fit even in a larger case!
If all else fails, using metal snips can be a cheap alternative to cutting it.
It looks like your case might not be a perfect fit for your ITX motherboard. The I/O shield is usually in the same spot for different case sizes, so you might just need to adjust your motherboard installation. Try lowering it a bit—you might find that it fits better without that metal piece blocking your ports!
Thanks for the tip! I’ll experiment with that adjustment.
Make sure to double-check the connections before you finalize anything!

I didn't notice any screws at first, but I'll take another look.
