I recently moved from West Virginia to California and want to have my gaming tower shipped here. I have the original Y70 touch case. Since my mom isn't familiar with packing electronics, I need advice on how she can send it without taking apart any components, which she can't do. Is there anything she can place inside the tower to prevent parts from rattling during transit? I have all the original packaging and the box.

Honestly, it might be best not to ship it at all unless you can remove some parts. I tried sending my tower once without sufficient packing, and it was a disaster. If you have the original packaging, you should definitely take out the GPU and RAM sticks since they can easily break off. The hard drives might be fine to leave in, but just make sure to back up your data before sending it.
I feel you on the cost! Without your original tower, rebuilding could get super pricey. Hopefully, you can find a secure way to send it!
A hard case like a Pelican or Apache case with foam is the best option. It will keep your tower safe during shipping and ensure it doesn’t get jolted around. Just make sure she packs it securely!

If you're worried about damage, consider making sure the hard drives are secure and taking the risk with the original packing. Just make sure to back up any important files!
