I recently upgraded my GPU to a 5070TI, but the only power supply unit (PSU) I could find that meets the ATX 3.1 standard was the Corsair CX750M. This PSU is a 2025 model and comes with the necessary ATX 3.1 12V-2x6 connector. I did some research and found that it's rated as B-tier on the SPL PSU Tier List, which makes me a bit worried. Should I be concerned about using this B-tier, Bronze-rated PSU for my GPU? Should I stick with the CX750M or switch to an RM750x? Will using a Bronze-rated PSU affect my GPU's longevity? Is a B-tier PSU really that much worse than an A+ tier one? Just for reference, my CPU is a 5700x3d and the GPU, at max load, draws around 500-550 watts.

If you can swap it for a Gold-rated version, I'd say go for it! The PSU is just as crucial as any other component, especially for higher-end builds. Gold 80 should be the minimum in those cases.

Yeah, but switching isn't as simple as it sounds. I'd have to redo my entire cable management, and I can't even reuse my current cables since the RM750x uses different connectors.
