I'm curious about the practical advantages of choosing an Azure OpenAI resource instead of going with an Azure AI Foundry resource. It seems like Azure AI Foundry includes everything from OpenAI models to other non-OpenAI models such as Grok, Kimi, or Qwen. Am I overlooking any unique benefits of provisioning an Azure OpenAI resource?

We're actually shifting our focus to the Microsoft Foundry since it integrates all Azure Direct Models, including OpenAI, under one platform. It offers features like multi-agent workflows, a huge tool catalog, and better management for agents and models, which makes it a solid choice compared to Azure OpenAI.
Just a heads-up, the new Foundry is actually Microsoft Foundry, not Azure AI Foundry. It's important to keep that in mind when comparing the two.
Interesting point! I wonder what the marketing strategy behind the name really means for users.
Honestly, I don't think there are any significant advantages to using Azure OpenAI these days over the new Foundry. The Foundry seems to cover everything you’d need now.

Wait, are you part of the team that developed the AI hubs?
