I'm considering whether to upgrade my CPU. Currently, I have an AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, paired with an ROG STRIX X870E-H GAMING WIFI7 motherboard, ROG ASTRAL GEFORCE RTX 5080 O16G overclocked graphics card, and a ROG Thor 1200W Platinum III power supply, along with two 16GB sticks of DDR5-6000 RAM. My main uses for the PC are gaming and 3D printing, particularly online PvP and single-player games. I'd appreciate any advice!

You're rocking a great CPU setup! Unless you're planning to run a ton of programs for 3D printing while gaming, which could benefit from the extra cores of a Ryzen 9, I think you should just hold onto your current setup. It's already very capable for your needs!
Honestly, I wouldn't bother. Your 7800X3D is still a solid CPU for gaming, especially at 1440p or 4K. Upgrading wouldn't give you any extra frames per second, so it's probably not worth the money.
If you have money to spare, you might consider the Ryzen 9 9950X3D or 9850X3D, but otherwise, there's no real need to upgrade since the 7800X3D is still among the top-tier gaming CPUs.

Thanks for the feedback! I just want to make sure I’m not missing out on anything.
