How Can I Print Photos from My Phone?

I had to give up my old PC last summer and now I can't print my photos. I've tried using Bluetooth to print from my Samsung Galaxy A14 to my HP Deskjet 3630, but I just can't seem to get it to work since I'm not the most tech-savvy person. I heard at a store that any USB-C cable from Amazon would work, but my research indicates I might need an adapter as well. Can someone explain what I specifically need to successfully print my photos from my phone? Thanks a lot!

If your printer is already WiFi capable, you don’t necessarily need a cable. Use the HP app as long as your printer is on the WiFi, or try connecting via WiFi Direct. Also, check out the user manual for guidance. What photo paper do you usually use? That can affect print quality, especially if you’re printing from your phone.

My printer isn't connected to WiFi, which is why I tried Bluetooth. I usually just buy standard photo paper from the store. I get that the quality might not be great printing from my phone, but I'm not sure what other options I have!

My phone connects to my printer without any hiccups since they’re both on the same WiFi. I’ve had a tough time with Bluetooth too, so I’d recommend getting your printer on WiFi if possible.

Unfortunately, my printer isn't WiFi-enabled. If you have any ideas on how to connect it, I'd love to hear them!

You might need to grab the HP Printer app from the Play Store. Most printers nowadays support mobile printing through their specific apps, so that could be your best bet!

I already have the app, but it might not be working since my printer isn't connected to WiFi. Appreciate the suggestion!

Have you considered printing by emailing your photos directly to your printer’s mail address if you have an HP account? This can be a convenient option!

That’s an interesting idea, but I’m not sure how that works. I appreciate you bringing it up!

Many newer network printers have apps to make connecting easier. I use the Brother app for setup, and it works well for me. If your printer isn’t recognized, ensure it's on the same WiFi network as your phone since Bluetooth can be tricky with printers.

I did download the app before but had trouble using it. The other suggestion you made about CUPS is a bit beyond my tech knowledge, but thanks for your help!
