So, I had a bit of an accident today. My water bottle leaked all over my bag and soaked my iPad. I managed to dry it off and it seemed fine during class, but when I got back to my dorm, I noticed a water stain in the bottom corner of the screen. I took the iPad out of its case and found more water inside, which I wiped out. Unfortunately, now there are lines on the screen and I can see condensation when I turn it off. I'm really worried! What should I do? Is there any chance Apple will repair it for free?

Unfortunately, water damage isn't covered by the warranty. Do you have AppleCare? That could help.
Nope, there's no way to get it fixed for free. If you didn't get AppleCare, you might just end up needing to buy a new iPad.

Is it really better to just get a new one then? I don't have AppleCare, sadly.
