Hey everyone! Hope you're all having a good day. I wanted to get your thoughts on my current RAM usage. After closing all of my background applications, including Steam and Discord, I'm still seeing 34% of my RAM being used. I have 16GB of DDR4 RAM in total. Is this normal or should I be concerned? Thanks for your input!

It's actually pretty common to see that kind of RAM usage! A lot of people think lower usage is better, but it’s not necessarily the case. Windows caches applications you often use in memory so they load faster when you need them. If your RAM isn't being fully utilized, it might be going to waste since unused RAM doesn’t help performance. As long as you’re not maxing out your RAM, you should be just fine!

Yeah, what TechWhiz99 said makes a lot of sense! Just remember, unless you’re hitting 100% RAM usage and experiencing slowdowns, you're likely in good shape. 34% RAM usage is quite normal, so try not to stress about it too much.
