I built my first PC about 7 months ago, and it's been crashing intermittently, especially while I'm gaming. The crashes usually happen when I'm in the middle of a game; my screen freezes, I lose audio, and the fans on my PC slow down as if it's struggling to process. I then have to force shutdown by holding the power button and restart. It's really frustrating, especially since it disrupts my progress in single-player games and puts my teammates at a disadvantage in multiplayer. Sometimes, I also experience stuttering where my mouse lag can lead to unintended movements. I've done some research and I think the issue might be due to one of three things: 1. a failing power supply under load, 2. faulty RAM, or 3. a failing GPU. My temperatures seem fine, with the CPU around 45°C idle and 65-70°C during gaming, while the GPU sits around 40°C idle and 60-65°C while in-game. If anyone has any insights or suggestions on what could be causing these problems, I'd really appreciate the help!

It sounds like your RAM might be unstable. Have you tried running something like MemTest86 to check it? Also, make sure all your BIOS, chipset, and GPU drivers are updated. It could also help to check the Event Viewer for any critical errors that occur just before the crash. This might give you a clue as to what's causing the issue.
Yeah, testing your RAM is a good idea! The other thing you might want to look into is making sure your drivers are all up to date. If it crashes again, definitely check the Event Viewer—it can show you what's failing or if there are any software issues causing the restarts.
