Am I facing a bottleneck with my current setup?

I've got a 3060 Ti paired with a Ryzen 7 7800X3D and 64GB of DDR5 RAM, and I primarily game at 1440p. I'm looking for some advice on whether I'm bottlenecked and what upgrades might be best for my system. Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks for all the suggestions! I'm leaning towards upgrading the GPU now. Any particular models you would recommend?

It sounds like you're experiencing some limitations. While your CPU is quite powerful, the 3060 Ti isn't the best fit for 1440p gaming, especially with demanding titles. If you can budget for an upgrade, considering a more robust GPU could help you get better performance overall.

To determine your true bottleneck, try running a game and checking the Task Manager while cranking up the settings. The component that hits 100% first is likely your weakest link.

Honestly, I wouldn't call it bottlenecked. Your CPU is more than capable, and it’s likely the 3060 Ti that's holding you back in more demanding games. An upgrade to a higher-end GPU would definitely be worthwhile if that fits in your plan.

But come on, every setup has a bottleneck! In this case, it seems like the GPU is the main limiting factor.

If you're thinking about upgrading, you might want to consider something like a 4070 or better. The 3060 Ti can handle older games well but struggles with newer ones at 1440p.

Agreed! Looking at a 4070 or even something in the 5000 series could give you a significant boost in performance.
