I have an iPhone SE that I'm trying to get some files off of, but it won't charge when I plug it in with a Lightning cable. The strange thing is that it works just fine on a wireless charger. I'm not very tech-savvy, so I'm looking for easy ways to troubleshoot this at home. Any suggestions?

Honestly, if the port is cluttered with debris, it could be preventing your charger from making a solid connection. Cleaning it out might solve your problem, and if that doesn't work, then it might be worth considering getting the port checked out by a professional.
Before jumping to conclusions, did you test with a different charger and cable? If you've done that and it's still not charging, there's a good chance the port may be damaged. If that's the case, using the wireless charger is a decent workaround until you can get it repaired.
From what you described, it seems likely there's an issue with the charger or the port itself. My bet would be on the port being the problem since you mentioned it charges wirelessly without issues.
It sounds like your charging port might be dirty or blocked. These ports can collect dust and lint over time, which prevents a proper connection. You could try cleaning it out carefully with a toothpick or some compressed air to see if that helps.
