Should I Upgrade My CPU and GPU or Buy a New Setup?

I'm in a bit of a dilemma. I currently have a Ryzen 9 3950X running at 4.7GHz, paired with a 2060 Super on an Asus Prime X570-P motherboard, and I have 64GB of 3200MHz DDR4 RAM. I've started using my PC more for gaming, and I'm considering upgrading to a 5800X3D and adding an RTX 4070 Ti Super, which would cost around $2,000. I need advice on whether it's worth upgrading my current system or if I should just invest in a completely new setup. What do you think?

The 5800X3D is no longer being made, and its price is pretty inflated right now. If you can find it at a reasonable price, it's a solid choice, but otherwise, steer clear. As for the 4070 Ti Super, it's last gen. You should maybe look into the 5070 Ti, which you can find for around $900-$1,000, though it's not great compared to past months. It's still a better option than the 4070 Ti Super, depending on what you’re seeing.

You shouldn't miss out on gaming performance with a 5800X3D and a 4070 Ti Super. The 5800X3D can handle up to an RTX 5080 without any significant bottlenecking, so it’s still a viable option.
