I left my PC unplugged from the power outlet for about a month. When I powered it on today, the monitor showed no signal even though I could see that the fans were spinning and the lights were on. I tried to restart it, but the power button wouldn't turn it off—it just kept running no matter how long I held it. Additionally, some USB ports weren't working either. Eventually, I unplugged the PC from the wall, plugged it back in, and it booted up normally. However, Windows then prompted me to create a password for my desktop, which was strange since I hadn't set up a lockscreen password before. My PC is brand new, only about two months old, but the graphics card is about four years old and still in great shape. Do you think my BIOS or CMOS reset, or might this be a Windows 11 glitch?

Leaving a PC unplugged for that long usually shouldn't cause problems unless it wasn't properly shut down beforehand. If you did a standard shutdown from Windows, then it's likely something else. Maybe there was just a glitch when you powered it back up.
That makes sense! I did shut it down normally, so maybe it was just a weird fluke. Glad it's working again!
