Hey everyone! I'm experiencing some frustrating micro-freezes on my Omen laptop that I bought back in August 2024. The freezing started appearing around the time of the January 2026 Windows update, though I'm not totally sure if that's the cause. Essentially, every 10 minutes or so, the laptop freezes for about a second, which causes delays in mouse and keyboard input. When it happens, audio also becomes choppy. I've included a link to a video of the micro-freeze for reference: [Watch Here](https://youtube.com/shorts/po1hkZ4oycI?feature=share).
It's particularly annoying when I'm trying to watch videos. Additionally, I've noticed some issues with my trackpad as well, and I'm wondering if it could be linked to static electricity problems with Omen laptops. I tried a grounding fix I found online, but it didn't seem to work for me. Any help or insights would be greatly appreciated!

It sounds like you might want to check your BIOS settings or disk setup first. Just a heads up, messing with those can lead to data loss, so make sure your backups are solid before you dive in. Also, here's an FAQ thread that might have some useful tips for troubleshooting this sort of issue!
