I recently dropped my laptop charger and it has a small crack at the corner. There's no visible damage to the internal components, and it still works fine without overheating. However, I'm worried about whether it might pose a fire hazard. Is it safe to keep using it, or should I replace it?

Yeah, it should be okay for now, but just keep an eye on it. You might run into some issues down the line, so don’t ignore it completely.
If you can, share a photo of the crack. That said, it shouldn't be a huge concern unless the damage is really severe. Just don't leave it unattended while charging.
It's probably fine, but I would recommend plugging it into a surge protector and keeping it away from anything flammable. Taping up the crack with some electrical tape could be a good idea too. Better safe than sorry!
A charger doesn’t actually contain a battery, just electronic components. Yours might be okay, but I’d suggest replacing it as soon as you can. Damaged chargers can be a fire risk, especially if they're compromised structurally. I've seen some bad incidents before, so it’s better to be cautious.

I didn't realize that! I’ll definitely look into replacing it soon; I just need to wait until payday. Thanks for the heads up!
