Hey everyone! I'm currently using my handheld gaming device as my main gaming setup and I'm considering building a proper gaming PC. I'm wondering if I should hold off on buying the parts and wait for prices to drop, or if there's a chance the prices will keep rising. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Honestly, it might be better to wait until the end of the year to see if prices drop a little. Realistically, it could take 1-2 years for prices to improve significantly, but we may never see those ultra-low prices like we used to for certain components, like DDR5 or NVMe drives.

If you don’t urgently need a new PC, it might be worth waiting. Just keep in mind that the wait could be quite long, it’s tough to say for sure.

How long are you willing to wait? From what we’re seeing, it looks like prices aren’t going to drop anytime soon. In fact, things might get worse before they get better.
