I recently used a software called fix-windows-privacy, which edits registry and group policy files to eliminate Windows 11 telemetry. My mistake was that I didn't create a restore point beforehand. Now, whenever I log into Windows, I'm prompted with a message stating "Your organization requires that you change your PIN," along with a bunch of complex requirements for the PIN. I'm really not looking for something so complicated since it's a personal computer and my dad also uses it. Are there any steps I can take to remove this requirement without having to reinstall Windows? Also, I should note that this issue seems to be affecting the BitLocker function as well.

Check your Settings under Accounts to see if you’re listed as part of any organization that you can opt out of. But honestly, it might require a Windows reinstall to fully resolve this issue. It’s always a good idea to make backups before making any changes to the registry, just in case things go sideways.
Instead of using fix-windows-privacy, I’d recommend trying O&O ShutUp 10 since it also works with Windows 11. However, your current main focus should be on addressing these PIN requirements first.
I totally get how frustrating that can be! Unfortunately, if the registry tweaks have enforced these settings, they might not be easy to reverse without a restore point. Reinstallation might be the cleanest solution, just back up your important files first!
