I had a Minecraft server running on a Windows 10 machine with an open port, and somehow it got hacked. They've encrypted all our Cobblemon server files. I do have some of the files they left, including a ransom note and an ID key, along with the encrypted server files. I'm looking for any help or advice on what to do next. Unfortunately, we don't have any backups from before the encryption, as we were using the server for less than a month. Thanks in advance!

That really sucks! With new ransomware, it's pretty common for there not to be a solution available immediately. Keep an eye on sites that track ransomware releases for any updates. Good luck!
It sounds like a tough situation, but if you don't have a backup, your options are really limited. Restoring from backup is usually the way to go. If you can't do that, I recommend checking websites that offer decryption tools, but since this is a new variant, there might not be a tool available yet. It's definitely worth looking into.
You're right to be concerned! Unfortunately, if this is a new ransomware variant, there may not be a decryptor out there just yet. Try checking out resources like No More Ransom to see if anything pops up, but it's a long shot. Hang in there!
