I've run into a strange issue with our Windows 11 machines: the Clipboard History (accessed via Win + V) and the entire Clipboard settings section vanished around February 9, 2026. It's concerning because while I've tried all the standard fixes for Clipboard History not functioning, I can't even see the Clipboard settings anymore—they're completely gone! When searching for 'Clipboard' in the Windows search bar, it's just not there.
Interestingly, our freshly imaged computers still have the Clipboard features, but as soon as my organization's policies, Defender, and patching processes take over, both the settings and history disappear. I'm currently trying to pinpoint what may be causing this issue and would love to hear if any fellow SysAdmins have encountered this and figured out the problem. If this is a glitch following a recent Microsoft update, I hope they roll out a fix soon. I'm really dependent on Clipboard History, and it's tough to work without it.

What version of Windows 11 are you currently running? And have you tried uninstalling the last cumulative update? Sometimes, rolling back helps fix these issues.
Did you check the Group Policy settings? It's possible that Clipboard History might be disabled there. You can find it under Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > System > OS Policies > Allow Clipboard History.
Did you let the new hire tinker around with the Group Policies? It happens more often than you'd think! Everyone usually denies it but it could explain the sudden changes.
I just updated my Windows, and my Clipboard History is still intact. Maybe someone has applied stricter security settings or CIS hardening that’s affecting it.

Haha, you're not wrong! Everyone insists there were no changes made. I guess I just have to suffer without my Clipboard History for now.
