I'm putting together a PC build and I want to know if it's good for both video editing and gaming at 1440p resolution. Here's what I have in mind: an AMD Ryzen 9 9900X CPU, a be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 5 cooler, an Asus TUF GAMING B650-PLUS motherboard, 16GB of Patriot Viper Venom DDR5 memory, a Samsung 990 Pro 1TB SSD, an ASRock Challenger OC Radeon RX 9060 XT graphics card, a Phanteks XT PRO case, and a Corsair RM850e power supply. The total cost is around $1626. Do you think this setup will work well for my needs?

Your build looks solid for 1440p! The RX 9060 XT should be fine unless you're pushing for extremely high FPS. If that ever becomes a priority, you might want to consider upgrading to the 9070 XT down the line. But for now, you should be okay!
Hey, I noticed you're going with 16GB RAM. I optimized my build to fit in 32GB for a similar price, which could help with video editing. Check it out: [link]. That extra RAM could really make a difference!
Honestly, the AMD Ryzen 9 9900X should do really well for video editing, even if it's not the first choice for everyone. With the RDNA improvements in recent AMD graphics cards, the RX 9060 XT should manage 1440p nicely, especially if you're not chasing the highest frame rates. Just a quick question, which games do you play?
Thanks for the suggestion! That’s really useful to know.

Thanks for the input! For now, I'm not really after high FPS, but I'll keep that upgrade in mind.
