Hey everyone! I'm looking to upgrade my GPU mainly for gaming at 1080p on ultra settings. The 9060XT seems like it might fit my needs, but it's priced at around $500 where I live. Given the current spike in GPU and RAM prices, do you think it's worth it, or should I hold out for a price drop (which seems unlikely)? I've checked the used market, but everything I found is either overpriced or looks a bit shady. Thanks for your input!

Honestly, I wouldn’t spend more than $400 on it. It's a decent card, but with $500, you could probably get something like the 4070 or a used card that performs better. Keep checking local listings; they might surprise you!
You might want to look at other options, though. I've seen the 9070XT getting better reviews for performance. Don't get swayed by fan opinions on different brands, but make sure to weigh your choices carefully before committing.
Honestly, that seems a bit steep unless it's in CAD. If it's the 16GB version, I would say go for it since prices for the 9060XT have skyrocketed recently. Just check around if you can, but it might be your best option given the situation right now.
It's 16GB and about 500 euros, unfortunately.
I scored my 9060XT for a similar price in CAD and it’s been solid, but I feel like $500 is high for that GPU. I recently bought a 5070 for around $520, so there are definitely better choices out there right now.
That’s true! It really depends on where you are; the market's all over the place.

Absolutely, especially since prices vary widely. The options can be really confusing!
