I have an old laptop from my aunt, and it only has 32GB of internal storage, which is quite limiting. Fortunately, I have a 128GB SD card, and I hoped to use it for downloading some applications. However, I'm unable to transfer apps to the SD card. I've done everything I can think of: I've changed the settings to save new content to the SD card, formatted it to NTFS, reinstalled apps, and attempted to change the file path directly to the SD card, but nothing works. The option to move apps simply isn't there! So, I'm curious if there's anything I might have missed. Can anyone help me out? Also, I tried looking for solutions on YouTube, but I couldn't find anything useful. By the way, sorry if my English isn't perfect; it's actually my third language!

It would help to know what specific app you're trying to move. You generally don't need extra software to use an SD card. Are you sure the SD card is recognized in the disk management settings? Sometimes, older laptops might struggle with larger SD cards due to compatibility issues. If you share the brand and specs of your SD card and the laptop, I might be able to help more!
A quick workaround is to manually copy the app's folder to the SD card. Make sure you transfer the necessary files and don’t just move them from the original location, or the app might not work correctly afterwards. But remember, it's always a good idea to keep a backup of the original files on your laptop just in case!
So you’re saying I should copy the app files to the SD card and then just delete those files from my laptop's storage? Will that actually work?

I’m trying to transfer all kinds of apps since my storage is almost full. Yes, the SD card shows up in disk management, and it’s a SanDisk. I'm using an HP Stream 14 model.
