Can I Use Microsoft Store Apps on Linux?

I'm currently using Linux Mint and Debian 13, and I'm wondering if there's any practical way to run Microsoft Store apps on Linux. For instance, I'm trying to use Power Planner by BareBonesDev, but it's only available on Android, iOS, and the Microsoft app store—there's no standalone executable. The web version is quite limited and has also stopped working recently. Any advice or solutions would be greatly appreciated!

You might want to check out Waydroid since the app has an Android version. It's a way to run Android apps on Linux, so it could be worth a shot!

Honestly, it's not really possible to run Microsoft Store apps directly on Linux. You could consider using the Android version with Waydroid, but that's about it.

Just a heads up, when asking technical questions, it's always a good idea to include your distro and hardware details so people can help you better!

If there's no native Linux version like an AppImage or Flatpak, you generally have three options. You can try Wine, which may run some Windows apps without a full virtual machine, but functionality might be limited. Another option is Winboat, which runs Windows apps through a VM but might not have great performance due to lack of hardware acceleration. Lastly, since there's an Android version, Waydroid could work, though setting it up can be a hassle.
