I recently bought a Ryzen 7 2700 CPU from eBay, and it had one bent pin. I managed to straighten the pin and cleaned off all the thermal paste. However, I didn't let the isopropyl alcohol (IPA) dry completely before installing it, and now my system is stuck on the DRAM and CPU check during boot. Is my CPU damaged, or is there a way to fix this? I'm using a B550M Pro4 motherboard.

Are you sure there aren't any pins missing or thermal paste accidentally connecting any points? It might just need more drying time to be safe.
First, take the CPU out and let it dry completely. After letting it sit for a while, try reinstalling it and see if that helps.

I checked it pretty well, but maybe I just need to be patient and let it dry a bit longer.
