I'm trying to decide between two pre-built gaming PCs specifically for 2K AAA titles. One setup has an Intel Core Ultra 5 245KF paired with an MSI PRO Z890-P WIFI motherboard, while the other features an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D with an MSI B650 GAMING PLUS WIFI motherboard. Both have the same other components: 32GB of 6000 RAM, a 5080 GPU, a 360mm AIO cooler, and an 850W PSU. The Intel setup is priced at $2350, and the AMD setup is at $3000. Which one should I choose?

Honestly, if the price difference is significant, I’d lean towards the AMD setup. The Ryzen 7 9800X3D is a beast for gaming and should handle 2K AAA titles really well.
For 2K gaming, I’d recommend considering the GPU. Since you're going with a 5080 in both setups, just pick the one you feel comfortable with and fits your budget better!
Since both setups have the same GPU, the CPU won’t drastically change your gaming experience at 2K. It’s more about the games you’re playing. If you’re focused only on AAA titles, either choice should run smoothly without a hiccup.
That’s true! I’m mainly playing single-player games, so maybe I won’t notice a big difference.

But remember, the Intel option is cheaper! Are the performance gains worth an extra $650?
