I've been experiencing crashes on my old MSI GT70 2PC laptop whenever I connect to the internet right after booting up. The crashes happen about 5 to 6 minutes into startup. If I don't enable the internet, the laptop runs fine. I freshly installed Windows 11, and it worked well for the first two weeks before the crashes started happening. I've tested both Ethernet and Wi-Fi connections, so I don't think it's an issue with the network card. It's a bit puzzling because the laptop runs perfectly in safe mode, even under high CPU usage and heat. Is there something scheduled that could be causing the crash, or any other ideas on how I can fix this? I'm okay without internet for now, but I'd love to get to the bottom of it.

Always a good idea to back up your data before tweaking your BIOS or system setup. If something goes wrong, you don’t want to risk losing important files. Just a heads up!
You might want to check the Event Viewer for any logs or errors occurring right around the time your system crashes. It can provide clues about what's happening. If you find something, feel free to share the details here!
Let us know what you find! Scheduled tasks may also be hitting right after startup, so checking that could help too.

Good idea! I’ll take another look and see if I can find any repeating errors.
