What GPU should I upgrade to for better gaming performance?

I'm currently running an Intel Core i7-10700KF with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER and 16GB of memory. As my GTX 1660 is getting outdated, I'm on the lookout for a new graphics card to enhance my gaming experience, especially for lower-demand games like Rainbow Six at high FPS. I'm considering a budget of €200–€300 but I'm open to spending a bit more if it means getting a significant upgrade. Any suggestions?

If you're aiming for solid performance, I'd suggest looking at the RTX 3060 Ti. It's a great option due to its compatibility and price point. You might even find a used RTX 3070 or 3070 Ti around £200 on eBay, which is a steal! Check other marketplaces, too; a 3080 might just pop up under €300 as well. Just steer clear of the 4060 series; they're not worthwhile compared to last-gen options. Also, when upgrading, make sure to use DDU to wipe old drivers for a smoother transition!

Good call! But how long do you think the new cards will last before needing another upgrade?

For around €300, you can grab a second-hand 3060 Ti, which will double your FPS for most games. It’s a solid choice, balancing price and performance!

That sounds promising! I've also heard about the new 5060, any thoughts?
