I'm thinking about upgrading my GPU, even though it's not absolutely necessary. I currently have a GTX 1070, which I picked up used as a temporary solution. I've seen a good deal for an RTX 3070, which normally retails for around 700 euros, but I found one for just 250 euros. While my GTX 1070 is still performing decently, I can't ignore the price of the 3070, and I'm aware that GPU prices are expected to rise further. My PC is running a Ryzen 5 5600, 16GB of DDR4 RAM, and a PSU that's strong enough for a new GPU. I'm okay with the 8GB of VRAM since I don't want to spend more than that. Do you think it's a good time to make this upgrade, or should I hold off?

If 250 euros isn't a big deal for you, I'd say go for it! It's a solid upgrade, especially since the GTX 1070 is starting to lose support. You won't find many good deals like this, so it might be worth it. Plus, if you don't end up liking it, you could always resell it and get your money back.

Yeah, even if you don't want it anymore, a 3070 should be pretty easy to resell given the current market.
