Need Help Troubleshooting My 2023 PC Build Failure

Hey everyone, I'm facing some serious issues with my 2023 PC build. Both Aida and memtest diagnostics are failing, specifically with the CPU, FPU, and all banks of RAM. I'm also experiencing random USB port failures, unexpected system reboots, and my computer forgetting about the video card altogether. I suspect the motherboard is the main problem, but I can't test the components with different DDR4 hardware.

This machine is used for software development, Docker, local AI, as a home server, and for gaming, and I prefer it to have at least 64GB of RAM (which I currently have with 4x16GB DDR4).

I originally chose the Tomahawk motherboard because it had the features I wanted, including a solid audio codec. However, I'm struggling to find one in stock now. Here are the options I've considered:

- **Z690 or Z790 Replacement**: Buy from Newegg shipping from Hong Kong. The prices are steep, and if it doesn't solve the problem, I'll just be wasting money and time.
- **Lesser DDR4 Motherboard**: I could go with a cheaper motherboard that might lack some features but could save money. However, I might need to buy separate components for 3D audio or Wi-Fi, possibly losing overclocking capability.
- **Move to DDR5**: Upgrade to a DDR5 motherboard and RAM. This option is pricey but will eliminate the hassle with DDR4, and I might be able to recover costs by selling my current DDR4.

Looks like I might have to bite the bullet and upgrade everything to DDR5. It's frustrating with the prices being so high, especially after my experience with the last memory class action lawsuit.

Here's my current part list:

Have you thought about upgrading your power supply? Sometimes, it could just be low voltages causing those errors. If you do end up changing to a DDR5 board, you’ll probably need a new PSU anyway. It might save you trouble in the long run for your upgrade!

Check if XMP is enabled. If it is, try turning it off since your 2x16GB kit might not handle stability well when using 4x16GB. This could lead to issues you're experiencing. Plus, if the RAM is a bit unstable, it might corrupt OS files, so keep that in mind!

I agree with checking the power supply first. When you’re facing multiple issues like this, there’s usually one thing affecting everything. Make sure to check your CPU voltage settings too. You might even want to consider undervolting it!
