I've been having some frustrating issues with my PC where certain games have terrible frame rate drops and audio stutters. It all started with the game FC 26, which was unplayable due to insane stuttering in both video and audio. I thought it might just be that game, but then I tried playing Overwatch. The menus worked fine, but during matches, I encountered slow-motion stutters and audio issues too. I also recently played Rocket League, which showed around 450 FPS in training, but again, in a 1v1 match, I faced severe stuttering and audio problems. My primary game is CS2, where I usually get a comfortable 150 FPS, and Fortnite runs at 180 FPS on performance mode without issues. I've tested a bunch of other games like DayZ and many story-driven titles without experiencing this problem. My setup includes an RX5500XT 8GB GPU, a Ryzen R7 2700 boosted to 4GHz, and 16GB of DDR4 RAM. After doing a DDU and reinstalling driver version 22.5.1, Rocket League ran smoothly at 180 FPS on max settings, but in 2v2 matches, the crazy audio stutters returned. MSI Afterburner shows no GPU spikes, and even after quitting the game, my friend's voice in Discord continues to stutter, which is quite odd. This has only happened with FC26, Rocket League, and Overwatch across the 50+ titles I've tested on this PC. Any advice would be awesome!

Have you checked if your chipset and GPU drivers are fully updated? Sometimes that can make a big difference. Also, it's possible that your shader cache is full, which might force your system to cache to disk constantly. If you did multiple tests in one day, it could help to purge the cache on your NVMe drive and see if that resolves the stuttering.

How do I check and fix that cache issue you mentioned?
