I recently made the switch from an Nvidia RTX 3050 to an AMD 6750 XT while using an i5 12400F processor. I made sure to clean out the old Nvidia drivers using DDU and installed AMD Adrenaline. While playing Rainbow Six Siege on low settings, I'm getting frame rates between 150-220, but they drop randomly to 150 during gameplay. In AMD Adrenaline, my GPU utilization is showing only 5-10%, but in the Task Manager, it's about 50% for both GPU and CPU. I've got 16GB of DDR4 RAM and sufficient SSD storage, so I'm puzzled about what's causing these fluctuations.

That seems pretty normal! Sometimes frame rates can fluctuate like that, especially if there are background processes or thermal throttling involved.
Did you completely uninstall Nvidia through the control panel or just use DDU? Sometimes remnants of old drivers can cause issues with new installs.
If you're still having trouble, consider reinstalling Windows. It may seem like a hassle, but a fresh start can solve a lot of unexpected problems.
I mean, you did upgrade from a 3050 to a 6750 XT, right? That's a solid upgrade for sure! It might not have a huge difference in CPU performance, but doubling the VRAM is definitely a nice boost in capability.
Definitely an upgrade! With that upgrade, you'll be able to game at 1440p with much less chance of running into VRAM bottlenecks.

Is it really not an upgrade? That seems like a pretty substantial jump!
