Seeking Advice for a 2026 PC Upgrade

I'm looking for some guidance on specific manufacturers and whether certain parts might be overkill for my needs. I currently have an i5 2500k and a GTX 970, but it's starting to struggle with my usage. My budget is around 4.5k PLN (about $1.2k USD), and I really want to avoid suggestions to get significantly more expensive parts. The goal is to build a system that can last a decent amount of time with minimal upgrades. I'm also planning to buy more RAM when prices drop. Here are the parts I'm considering:

# PNY GeForce RTX 5060 Epic-X RGB Overclocked Triple Fan 8GB
# AMD Ryzen 5 8400F
# Asus PRIME B650M-R
# Kingston FURY Beast DDR5 1x16GB 5600MHz CL40
# Thermalright Assassin Spirit 120 V2 PLUS
# Samsung 990 EVO Plus 1TB
# Chieftec Vega M 750W
# 5x ARCTIC P12 Pro PST PWM
# Darkflash DB330M Mesh

I think the SSD you're considering might be overkill if you're primarily gaming and doing some basic production work. A SATA SSD could save you some cash here, around $50 to $60. Also, the Ryzen 5 8400F isn't the strongest choice; options like the 7500F or 7600X are generally better and might even be cheaper in some areas. Look into those if you can find them for a lower price.

In my area, the 7600X is about $60 cheaper than the 8400F, and the 7500F is $30 less. As for GPUs, I heard about the Arc series, but I found on benchmarks that they underperform compared to the 5060. What situations do you think they outperform? I already have a SATA SSD I plan to use, and the price gap between a 1TB SATA and NVMe is tiny, plus I’m wary of sketchy brands after a bad experience last year with a failed SSD.
