I keep making mistakes with my Debian installs and end up having to reinstall them every week, which is a hassle since I have to log back into everything afterwards. This never happened to me with Windows, but at this point, I don't want to switch back. I've messed things up by booting from a live USB to expand my main partition, and once I had the live boot disk lock me out. Also, some data recovery software messed up my partition table. If I accidentally mess up again, I'll drop a comment so you can share a laugh at my misfortunes!

You might want to consider trying Ubuntu instead. It's user-friendly and could help minimize accidental errors while you're figuring things out!
It sounds like you're having quite the adventure with Debian! When you say you "nuked" your install, could you clarify what steps you're taking that lead to this problem? Also, data recovery software shouldn't normally mess up your partition table; that's pretty unusual. If you can share more details about what you're doing, we might be able to help pinpoint the issue.

No way, I really want to stick with Debian. I appreciate the suggestion, though!
