I'm experiencing a frustrating issue with my PC where the monitor suddenly turns off, but the computer itself stays powered on. This seems to happen more frequently when I'm running demanding tasks. My temperatures are within acceptable limits, with the CPU never exceeding 75-80 degrees and my GPU usually staying lower, with the hot spot not going above 80 degrees. Here are my specs:
- Motherboard: Asrock B550M-HDV
- CPU: Ryzen 5 5600
- GPU: RX 6900 XT
- Power Supply: 80+ Gold 1200W
- RAM: Lexar 32GB DDR4 3200
Interestingly, I've had a similar problem before with a 5700 XT and even switched my power supply from a 750W to 1200W, but the issue persists. I've also tried reinstalling Windows multiple times. I've noticed that during these occurrences, the GPU fans stop spinning as well. Any advice?

Do you happen to use a dual monitor setup? Sometimes, issues like this can be linked to how the monitors are configured, especially if one is connected via DisplayPort and another via HDMI. It might help to check your display settings and try switching the cables around or changing the primary monitor setting to see if that resolves the issue.

Yes, I have a main monitor connected through DP and an old TV using HDMI. I hadn’t thought about that, but it might be worth investigating!
