We recently received new Wi-Fi only iPad Airs, and I've noticed that the Phone app is pre-installed on them. I thought I could remove built-in apps through Intune, but I couldn't find an App Store entry for the Phone app. I'm not sure how to instruct Intune to remove it. Has anyone else seen the Phone app on their Wi-Fi iPads? Is there a method to either hide or remove the Phone app?

You can block the Phone app by adding its bundle ID (com.apple.mobilephone) to the blocklist in your MDM. Check out this support article from Apple for the details on bundle IDs. Just remember, it might not show up in the App Store since it’s a built-in app.
I've seen the Phone app on my personal iPad even without MDM. It lets you answer calls from your phone right on the iPad. Plus, if your iPhone is on the same account or in a family group, you can share the cellular data—it’ll let you turn on the hotspot from your iPad.

Interesting! Can I leave the App Store URL blank in Intune when I do that?
