I'm having trouble accessing my Adtran router through its IP address (192.168.40.1). No matter what I do, the page won't load. I've tried different web browsers and both http and https without success. Any ideas on how to get this to work?

First off, make sure you're connected to your router's network. You might be using the wrong IP address for logging in. For most Adtran routers, the typical addresses to try are 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.1.254. You can find your actual gateway IP by running 'ipconfig' in a command prompt if you're on Windows. That should help you find the right address.
Remember, the default credentials for an Adtran router are usually 'admin' for the username and either 'adtran' or 'admin' for the password. If you’ve tried those and still can't log in, you might need to reset the router to factory settings.
It sounds like you're trying to access it from outside your local network, which won't work. You have to be connected to the same network as the router to log in through a web browser. Just type in one of the common IPs like 192.168.1.1 directly in your browser while connected to your home network.
