I've recently built my own OEM system, but I'm facing some serious issues with it freezing and restarting unexpectedly. I've updated the BIOS and increased my RAM to 6000MHz, but the freezing still occurs, and the DRAM light turns on. I even formatted my computer today, but the problem persists. Just yesterday, I played Call of Duty 7 Zombies at ultra settings for three hours without any issues, but after I exited the game, it froze again. Here are my system specs:
- **Processor:** AMD Ryzen 5 7500X3D 4.0GHz 6 Cores
- **Motherboard:** MSI PRO B850M-G AM5 DDR5 8200+(OC)MHz mATX
- **Graphics Card:** GAINWARD GeForce RTX5070 PYTHON III 12GB GDDR7
- **Memory:** 2 x Patriot Viper Venom 16GB DDR5 6000MHz
- **SSD:** Kioxia Exceria Basic 1TB Gen4x4 NVMe PCIe M.2
- **Case:** GamePower Warcry Prism 750W 80+ Bronze Tempered Glass
I'm really frustrated and could use any help or advice!

It sounds like you might have a RAM issue. Have you made sure to enable EXPO in your BIOS to optimize your RAM settings? Also, sometimes when running RAM at high speeds like 6000MHz, it can become unstable unless properly configured. If you've done that and the problem still exists, consider lowering the RAM speed and see if that helps.
Have you checked your power supply? If your system is restarting randomly, it could be due to inadequate power delivery. Make sure your 750W power supply is functioning well and is sufficient for your components, especially the RTX 5070.
I haven't looked into the power supply much yet. I'll check that out as well, thanks for the suggestion!

Yeah, I thought about that. When I set the RAM speed to automatic, it defaults to 4800 MHz. Maybe I should stick with that for now and test it out.
