I used to be able to import and export contacts through CSV files in the old Yahoo interface. However, a friend of mine recently created a new Yahoo account, and I've noticed there's no option for importing contacts from a CSV file anymore. They want to transfer their contacts from an old AT&T Yahoo account that can export to CSV, but it seems the new account can't switch back to the old interface. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to work around this issue?

Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be any import option for the new Yahoo interface at the moment. You might have to contact their support for assistance or just resort to manually entering the contacts.
Check if the new Yahoo account has any import feature at all, even if it’s not from CSV. Sometimes there are options that might not be immediately obvious.
One workaround is to open the CSV file in a spreadsheet application like Excel or Google Sheets. You can then copy the contacts directly from that file and paste them into the new Yahoo account.
I found a help page that might contain useful info: 'Import, export or print contacts in New Yahoo Mail.' But from what I can see, it still doesn't include an option for importing.
