I've been having a major issue with my mom's LG Gram laptop (15Z90R-P.AAC6U1) that's only about a year and a half old. For the past three days, it has been crashing with BSODs every time we try to open any web browser—whether it's Edge, Chrome, or Firefox. The strange part is that she hasn't changed anything or installed new software recently, except that I logged into Outlook with her Gmail accounts.
I've already done quite a bit of troubleshooting, including:
- Running Windows Memory Check twice (no issues found)
- Running chkdsk three times (also no issues)
- Uninstalling Chrome and Firefox, but Edge still crashes
- Running System File Checker (sfc /scannow) and DISM repairs
- Conducting an antivirus check
- Checking for driver updates with LG's software and manually downloading Intel drivers
- Attempting a Windows recovery but the problems persist.
I'm at a loss and am contemplating a fresh reinstall of Windows 11. Also, I ran into a snag trying to boot into Safe Mode because it asks for a BitLocker key that I never set up. Any advice on what I can do next? Also, here are some minidump files from today: [link to minidump files]. Thanks for any help!

Have you checked the Reliability Monitor? It might help pinpoint what changed recently that caused the BSOD issue to kick in. You can access it by searching 'Reliability Monitor' in Windows. If you're seeing significant errors around the time the crashes started, that could give you a clue about any troubling software or drivers. Sounds like a headache, but hopefully, it gives you more leads.
It sounds like you've done quite a bit of legwork already! Since the dump files point to issues with the Intel GPU driver and the WiFi card driver, those could very well be the culprits. I'd definitely recommend trying to uninstall and reinstall those drivers. If you still encounter problems after that, specifically targeting the nprotect driver might be worth a shot since it popped up in your dump files as well. This could be causing some weird conflicts. If none of this helps, a fresh install might be your best bet. Hang in there!
Yeah, I checked it out and it shows that the BSODs started three days ago. Do you think that indicates anything specific that I should focus on?
