Should I Be Worried About My HDD’s Reallocated Sectors Count?

I recently noticed that my hard drive has a raw value of 260 for the Reallocated Sectors Count. The current and worst values are both at 100, while my other drives have the same values but a raw count of 0. Is this something I should be concerned about, and what does it mean for my drive's health?

Yes, having 260 reallocated sectors definitely indicates that your hard drive may be failing. This particular SMART attribute is one of the most critical ones to watch for. It’s like a warning sign that something’s wrong and that you might need to consider replacing the drive soon. I’d recommend backing up any important data ASAP—just in case! HDDs are pricey right now, especially with the recent demand, so it’s better to be safe.

I feared as much. Luckily, it’s all non-critical data. Replacing it would be inconvenient, but it's just disappointing since it’s a 12TB drive.
