Is My PC Build Good Enough for Gaming and Video Editing?

I'm planning to put together a PC and I need your advice on whether my selected parts will meet my needs. My focus will be on casual gaming (like Fortnite and Minecraft) and some video editing. I'm situated on the east coast of the U.S. While I know some components aren't the latest and greatest, especially the CPU, I'm trying to stay within budget. Here's what I have in mind:

- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600X 4.7 GHz 6-Core Processor
- Motherboard: AM5 Asus ROG Strix B850-F
- GPU: Asrock Challenger Radeon RX 9070 16GB
- Memory: Patriot Viper Elite 5 16GB DDR5-6000 CL30
- Storage: Samsung 990 Pro 2TB

Will this setup be sufficient for my goals? Any input is greatly appreciated!

Awesome build! The 16GB RAM will work well for Minecraft and Fortnite. Just keep in mind if you're diving into heavier editing software like Premiere Pro, you might hit a RAM limit if you're working with 4K footage. 1080p editing should be no problem though!

Your components are near the top tier, especially for general use. For video editing, consider future-proofing with an 8-core CPU like the 7700X, but you're already doing pretty well with what you have!

That build looks solid and should handle your gaming and basic video editing just fine. If you have a Microcenter nearby, check out their AMD bundles for good deals!

You’re in good shape! I’d also suggest checking out Microcenter bundles. They sometimes have great deals that could save you a bit more money.
