I'm currently using a Ryzen 5 5600 with a RYX 5070 TI, and I play games at 1440p. I'm considering making the jump to an AM5 setup. Will this upgrade really help me get more out of my GPU?

Definitely! The Ryzen 7 9800X3D is a huge upgrade. Just make sure you can find DDR5 RAM at a reasonable price. For instance, there's a decent bundle that includes the 9800X3D, 32GB of DDR5, and an ASUS X870 motherboard for around $800.
Upgrading to the 9800X3D will definitely smoothen out your gaming experience. Just to let you know, if you have a Microcenter nearby, they offer bundles that could save you a good chunk of change—about $300 on average!
If you're near a Microcenter, definitely check out their bundles to get the best savings on the upgrade!
I wouldn’t just see it as an upgrade; upgrading from a Ryzen 5600 to a Ryzen 9800X3D is more like a complete swap. You'll need a new motherboard and RAM too since you're moving from AM4 to AM5 and DDR4 to DDR5. Think about keeping your old rig as a backup while you build a brand new machine.
If I were in your shoes, I’d just upgrade to a R7 5800XT and not worry too much about the 9800X3D just yet!
My brother actually did the upgrade from a 5700X3D to the 9850X3D, and he said the performance on his setup is just fantastic. If you're looking for smoother gameplay, this is the way to go!
Is upgrading from a minivan to a Corvette worth it? It all comes down to what you really need, right?
Honestly, if your current setup plays the games you want without issues, you might not need to upgrade right now. Save your money and wait for a better reason to upgrade.

Where can I find deals on that?
