My GPU Keeps Disappearing—Need Help!

Hey everyone, I'm dealing with a frustrating issue where my GPU randomly disappears from my system, and I could really use some help figuring this out. After experiencing a blue screen while playing Total War, my GPU stopped showing up in Task Manager. I found that the only way to make it appear again is to revert my driver using AVG, but even that solution is only temporary. The GPU shows up again until it decides to vanish once more, which sends my PC into chaos. It seems like the driver needs updating whenever this happens, but even after I update it, the GPU goes missing again. It's becoming really worrying! My specs are as follows: CPU: i5-3570, RAM: 16GB DDR3, GPU: AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT. Any suggestions?

First off, consider uninstalling AVG. It seems to be causing conflicts with your graphics driver. I recommend downloading the latest graphics driver directly from AMD's website instead. That might save you a lot of trouble!

It's possible AVG is placing driver-related files into quarantine. I suggest completely uninstalling it and, if you have the time, consider doing a clean reinstall of Windows. This could resolve lingering issues from registry modifications you've made. As long as you’re not recklessly clicking on links, Windows Defender should keep you safe!

To dive deeper into the BSOD issue, you should try to collect the dump files from your system. If you can boot into Windows normally, grab any files from C:WindowsMinidump and zip them up. Then share them through a file-sharing service like MediaFire to get some better insights. This might help narrow down the actual cause of the problem!

Here's the link to my dump files: [https://www.mediafire.com/file/ja4uswlql2vmrxa/DumpFiles_for_Reddit.zip/file](https://www.mediafire.com/file/ja4uswlql2vmrxa/DumpFiles_for_Reddit.zip/file). Let me know if you need anything else!

Seriously, what's up with AVG messing with your drivers? I’d just dump that antivirus and stick to Windows Defender. It does a pretty good job without interfering with your system like that.
