I bought an Apple iPhone 17 on January 13, just a month ago, from Verizon, and I noticed that the back of the phone is bulging near the camera. The battery life seems to have dropped drastically too; it went from 100% at 5:44 AM to just 19% by 11:52 AM. Should I reach out to Verizon or Apple for assistance? The nearest Apple Store is quite far, about an hour and a half away, but Verizon is only 20 minutes from me. If I do need a replacement, will it be a new phone or a refurbished one?

You're definitely covered under warranty, so I recommend heading to the Apple Store if you can. Just a heads-up, if they can't fix it, they'll likely give you a refurbished phone instead.
