I recently purchased an NVIDIA 5080 and I've been told not to use a 3-to-1 adapter for the power connection. I have an RM1000x power supply and I'm looking for advice on which cable I should use to connect it to my GPU. Thanks in advance for the help!

Make sure you're checking the version of your RMx power supply. If it's a newer model with a 12V-2x6 cable, use that. It’ll plug directly into your GPU without needing any adapters. If it’s an older model, you might have to go for the adapter method instead.
You should use the native 12V connector that comes with your RM1000x. It has a single 2x6 cable designed for this purpose, which is safe to use. If you prefer, you can use an adapter as long as you connect three separate PCIe cables to it for added safety.
