What’s the Best Budget GPU for Gaming Right Now?

I'm looking to find out what the cheapest GPU is that can still deliver decent performance for most games. I've seen some options like the RTX 5060 with 8GB of VRAM, but I've heard that might not be sufficient for future titles. Can anyone suggest a budget-friendly GPU that would work well for gaming, especially if I play at 1080p?

If you're playing at 1080p, the RTX 5060 does just fine in most games. For a bit more power and future-proofing, the RX 9060 XT 16GB would be my recommendation.

I totally agree, the 5060 should hold you over for a few years!

The Arc B580 is a solid option, and you might also want to consider the Arc B570.

I didn't even think about Intel GPUs before now!

For something new, the RX 9060 XT with 16GB is great for 1080p, but you could also look at the RX 7800 XT, which has nice performance for its price. It all depends on your gaming preferences really!

The RX 9060 XT seems to be a strong choice for 1440p gaming!

If you're okay with used GPUs, a 3070 is a fantastic choice for 1440p gaming. Otherwise, a used 3080 FE would work great too!

I owned both and honestly didn't notice much difference.

For the absolute cheapest while still getting decent quality, consider looking for a used 1080 or 2070. You'll be surprised by how well they handle most games at lower settings!

I got a used 1080 and it still performs well for gaming!
